We're happy to announce that Avid Dental has reopened for all dental & hygiene services. While we have always remained available for emergency dental treatment these past few months, we are eager to see you all soon to restore your routine dental wellness visits.
We have always maintained as a daily practice the highest standard of universal precautions as outlined by CDC and OSHA standards of infection control. Patient & Team Member safety has remained our top priority.
We are taking extended measures to further protect all our patients & team with the following additional protocols:
- Our team is outfitted with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and we kindly ask our patients to wear a mask when entering the office and maintain 6 feet social distancing from other patients.
- We are utilizing medical grade HEPA air purification systems.
- In compliance with the recommendations for public health, anyone with a cough or fever will not be allowed in the office and should stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date.
- Upon arrival to the office for your appointment, you will be screened for your temperature, asked to sanitize your hands, and complete a COVID-19 informational form.
- Please make sure to wear a mask when coming to the office.

Emily
Office Manager
Emily has been with the practice for over 5 years. She has been in dental administration here for two years and the clinical aspect since 2007. She enjoys working hard to make things bigger and better for all the patients and our team. She is CPR certified and certified in coronal polishing. She loves attending administrative courses to expand her knowledge. Emily enjoys reading and taking trips to the city; she has a cat named Ziggy Tucker.
Erica
Chief officer of operations
Erica has been a part of the practice since 2013, providing great customer service to the patients and team. Her main focus is making sure the operations aspect of the practice runs smooth for the patients and the team. She is full of ideas to make sure patients have a pleasant experience when coming to their appointment! She is currently attending the College of Lake County working on getting her Associate degree in business.
Erica enjoys the outdoors and yoga; she grew up around pets and has a cat named Princess! She has no human children, but she enjoys her fuzzy-four-legged kid that is spoiled rotten. She is happy to be a part of this kind, caring and fun-loving team! She also loves the dental field and finds it a never-ending learning adventure!
Julia
Hygienist
Julia has been in the dental field since 2002 and has been a part of the Avid Dental Lindenhurst team since 2011. She has a Bachelor’s in Dental Hygiene from Southern Illinois University. She is certified in local anesthesia as well as nitrous oxide. She is known for her caring attitude and friendly personality. Outside the office, she enjoys reading a good sci-fi novel and taking weekend trips with her friends.
Katti
Insurance Coordinator
Katti recently joined our team in the summer of 2020. She is still new to the practice but has been in dentistry since 2015. She initially started as a receptionist in the dental field but quickly became more interested in tracking down insurance claim payments and checking for eligibility. You can say that she is like a "dental detective".
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family. Her favorite times of the year are holidays that are surrounded by friends, family, and yummy food.
Jenna
Lead Assistant
Jenna has been working as an assistant in the dental field for about 5 years. She is proud to be part of a diverse team of professionals and values working in an atmosphere that encourages lifelong learning and innovation. Jenna is a valued member of the team because of her attention to detail and always put the needs of our patients first. Jenna is bilingual and loves working in an environment that strives to be on the cutting edge of dental technology while providing the best possible care.
Paulina
Dental Assistant
Paulina is one of our newest additions to the practice. She loves getting to know each patient and giving each experience a personalized touch. She appreciates the collective approach to offering the best possible treatment. She works diligently at our practice to ensure that every patient receives the best possible treatment during their appointments, treatments, and recovery. She loves watching movies and spending time with her friends and family while she is not at work.
