We're happy to announce that Avid Dental has reopened for all dental & hygiene services. While we have always remained available for emergency dental treatment these past few months, we are eager to see you all soon to restore your routine dental wellness visits.
We have always maintained as a daily practice the highest standard of universal precautions as outlined by CDC and OSHA standards of infection control. Patient & Team Member safety has remained our top priority.
We are taking extended measures to further protect all our patients & team with the following additional protocols:
- Our team is outfitted with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and we kindly ask our patients to wear a mask when entering the office and maintain 6 feet social distancing from other patients.
- We are utilizing medical grade HEPA air purification systems.
- In compliance with the recommendations for public health, anyone with a cough or fever will not be allowed in the office and should stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date.
- Upon arrival to the office for your appointment, you will be screened for your temperature, asked to sanitize your hands, and complete a COVID-19 informational form.
- Please make sure to wear a mask when coming to the office.

Meena Goel, D.D.S
Owner/General Dentist
Dr. Goel graduated from the University of Illinois Urban-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. With a full curriculum of classes and extensive research work in the biology field, Dr. Goel was able to complete her degree in 3 years, graduating in 1996. Always aspiring to be a healthcare professional, she was accepted into one of the top dental universities in the country.
Dr. Goel graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Illinois in the year 2000. Upon completion, Dr. Goel decided to further advance her knowledge of dentistry by participating in the General Practice Residency Program at Evanston Northwestern Hospital. This extensive program concentrated on dental treatment for medically compromised patients, cancer patients, oral surgery, and advanced gum disease treatments. This one-year program significantly expanded her knowledge of medicine and dentistry, allowing her to confidently start her career.
Dr. Goel is an accredited and active member of the International Association of Orthodontics, a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
She is also an active member of local women’s dental groups and dental volunteer activities.
In this continuously changing field, Dr. Goel maintains her updated knowledge and skills with extensive continuing education with Rondeau Seminars since 2015, focusing on Early Orthodontics treatments for children and adults, TMJ disorder treatments, and Sleep Apnea Solutions. Dr. Goel also hosts General Dentists from around the country for a 2-year hands-on mini-residency program in Orthodontics, Sleep Apnea, and TMD treatments.
Dr. Goel believes in the importance of educating her patients, and providing them with comprehensive dental care, utilizing the best materials and techniques available. Maintaining their dental health is a commitment that she and her patients make to each other.
Dr. Raed Aldelayme
General Dentist
Dr. Raed is a General Dentist who focuses on wisdom teeth extractions, implants, biopsy, sinus lift, and bone grafting. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) in 2003 from the University of Mosul, Iraq. He has gained many qualifications in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from various residency programs which include: Syrian specialty (SOMFS) in 2009; Arab Board (CABOMFS) in 2009; Royal College of Physician and Surgeons in Glasgow (MOMSRCPSG) in 2010; Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MFD) in 2011; and Fellowship of Faculty of Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeon in Ireland in the field of Oral Surgery and Oral medicine (FFDOSOM) in 2013, Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FDS)in 2019 and Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FDS) in 2020.
Furthermore, he received a subspecialty in laser medicine (HDLaser) in 2015, a Fellowship in Urgent Care in 2017, and Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) in 2019 from Eastman Institute of Oral Health, University of Rochester, USA.
He held the prestigious appointment as Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dijlah University College and Senior OMFS Surgeon, OMFS Department, Alyarmouk Teaching Hospital, Baghdad, Iraq where he supervised residents in their work to obtain their degree in OMFS. He has published several research studies and holds the position of Editor in chief, Editor, and Reviewer for several research journals. He holds two dental licenses in Chicago and Maryland where he practices in various clinics, and he is an Oral Surgery Lecturer in NYU Langone residency Maryland programs for the past three years.
Vevake Tandon, D.D.S
General Dentist
Dr. Vevake Tandon graduated from University of Detroit Mercy’s accelerated 7-year direct dental program. Furthering his dental passion with advanced training as a Dental Resident at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital Michigan. Dr. Tandon’s priority is to provide complete and comprehensive care to all his loyal patients. Focusing on the value of optimal oral health and the benefits to the body as a whole and quality of life.
In his free time, Dr. Tandon loves to travel and spend time with his friends and family. His hobbies include a variety of sports, traditional Indian dance, and fine cooking.
Dr. Tandon is excited to meet all the loyal individuals and families of patients at Avid Dental Lindenhurst and help them achieve optimal health, one patient at a time.
