We're happy to announce that Avid Dental has reopened for all dental & hygiene services. While we have always remained available for emergency dental treatment these past few months, we are eager to see you all soon to restore your routine dental wellness visits.
We have always maintained as a daily practice the highest standard of universal precautions as outlined by CDC and OSHA standards of infection control. Patient & Team Member safety has remained our top priority.
We are taking extended measures to further protect all our patients & team with the following additional protocols:
- Our team is outfitted with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and we kindly ask our patients to wear a mask when entering the office and maintain 6 feet social distancing from other patients.
- We are utilizing medical grade HEPA air purification systems.
- In compliance with the recommendations for public health, anyone with a cough or fever will not be allowed in the office and should stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date.
- Upon arrival to the office for your appointment, you will be screened for your temperature, asked to sanitize your hands, and complete a COVID-19 informational form.
- Please make sure to wear a mask when coming to the office.

fixed bridges
Bridges are the perfect solution for those missing one or more teeth in a row and want to have them replaced without any of the hassle of a removable piece. While a removable bridge is made using a frame similar to a retainer, with the new teeth attached to the frame, a fixed bridge is more like an interconnected set of teeth that are cemented to your existing teeth. Normally patients have to clean their bridges daily or remove them for certain activities, but a fixed bridge stays in place and is fully functional, just like natural teeth.
Before placement of a bridge, your adjacent natural teeth are prepared. After this preparation is complete, the bridge is cemented on to your natural teeth, providing a "bridge" between these two teeth.
