We're happy to announce that Avid Dental has reopened for all dental & hygiene services. While we have always remained available for emergency dental treatment these past few months, we are eager to see you all soon to restore your routine dental wellness visits.
We have always maintained as a daily practice the highest standard of universal precautions as outlined by CDC and OSHA standards of infection control. Patient & Team Member safety has remained our top priority.
We are taking extended measures to further protect all our patients & team with the following additional protocols:
- Our team is outfitted with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and we kindly ask our patients to wear a mask when entering the office and maintain 6 feet social distancing from other patients.
- We are utilizing medical grade HEPA air purification systems.
- In compliance with the recommendations for public health, anyone with a cough or fever will not be allowed in the office and should stay home. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date.
- Upon arrival to the office for your appointment, you will be screened for your temperature, asked to sanitize your hands, and complete a COVID-19 informational form.
- Please make sure to wear a mask when coming to the office.

how does it work?
Your doctor will perform a comprehensive oral exam, using technology and instruments to scan your teeth. Dental cleanings include the removal plaque and tartar from your teeth and along your gum line.
Then, your hygienist will polish your teeth with a gritty toothpaste to remove any remaining plaque. Flossing is then implemented to get rid of food particles lodged between teeth.
